At nanoseconds when you realize that it’s tense and no longer comfortable, your intelligent mind tells you to relax. The other half is answering, in very human terms, that the relaxation muscle who is tuned to take it easy is currently listening to some other music in headphones and does not hear you. And you stand there, banging on its door, trying to reach him somehow.
Recognizing that he simply is not available right this nanosecond and will come back as soon as he can, just at the right time, makes alll the difference. It’s okay that this nanosecond is tense. The sond that’s in the headphones will last just another moment.
